People, Places & Traditions Workshops

This workshop focuses on teaching participants about intangible cultural heritage in their localized communities through collaboration, presentations, and fun activities.

This workshop will:

• Teach participants about the ways that people express the unique local identity and values of the places we live, and how that contributes to a sense of identity and belonging;

• Raise awareness of how community heritage connects with recreation to benefit the overall health of communities

• Have participants learn about how mapping community assets, places and spaces can be a helpful tool in planning

• Be lots of fun!
